Hello lovely ladies (and gents)! I hope your weekend was good and you are refreshed and ready for a new week. Today’s Girls Want Pearls will be fashion related. Next week’s will be home decor. I have a love for both, so I keep my pearl project posts alternating between the two.
Here’s an easy and very inexpensive way to add some pearls to your casual accessory collection with a custom wrap bracelet.
You’ll need: muslin, ticking or other cotton fabric; pearls, needle and thread
Tear a strip of fabric, approx. 40 inches long x 3/8 inch wide.
Knot the strip at random intervals.
Sew the pearls onto the knots.
That’s it! You have a brand new wrap bracelet to wear with your jeans and casual outfits in sweet summery hues, or classic neutrals.
Next week’s hint: Were You There?
Talk soon,
Ann

Oh, this is cute! I really like the contrasting materials…pearls and homespun fabric! It works, and works brilliantly! And! It’s easy to do!!! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Sue! Thanks so much, you’re a doll!

Hi Shelly! Thanks for the visit, just added you on bloglovin!
Very pretty bracelets! I love jewelry tutorials. If you have not shared yet at Bacon Time linky, please do.
Those are boutique worthy! What a cool, wearable art. Love these!
What a nice compliment, thank you Alison!
They are really cute. My daughter would have fun with this concept. Does the wristlet wrap on by tucking the ends in?
Hi Su! The ends just tie in a knot for a rustic look. Or if you prefer to tie and tuck that would work too!
These are so sweet and just what my daughter needed to make a gift for a friend today. Just adorable and classy yet funky to boot! I saw you at Ivy and Elephants and couldn’t resist visiting :)
