I put together another baby boo display and kept it neutral with browns, grays, creams and a hint of navy blue.
I already had the fluted metal pan and ironstone grouping in my bathroom with candles in it. I added a bouquet of dried hydrangeas from a friend’s wedding and changed out the candles for pumpkins and acorns.
I still have some baby boos on the vine waiting to be picked so I will be playing with pumpkins throughout the month. As much as I love fall neutrals I envision the next display with pops of fall color!
Back in January I shared 8 Things I Want My Blog To Be in 2015. Number 2 on the list was to give my readers practical ways to make life a little easier. To that end, I have designed a little series I’m calling “A Little Bird Told Me.” The feature will be at the end of various posts and will contain random, helpful information. Some will be a little kooky, some may seem obvious, but all will be tried and true tips that I have learned and put to use in my day to day life. I don’t claim to be an authority on the subjects I will cover. From crafting to cleaning, from hygiene to mental health I’ll share a mix of life hacks that have worked for me. Here’s the first of many…
Yep! Simple but true!
As always, I’m so happy that you took the time to read my blog. I hope that you have a beautifully creative week!

What a great idea, Ann. I will remember this. And, I will order Baby Boos next year to grow up my three foot fence. How charming they are.

Hi Ginene! Great to hear from you, I hope you’re doing well!
Beautiful fall neutrals and I love your “little bird told me” tip!
Thanks so much for sharing at AMAZE ME MONDAY!
Blessings,
Cindy
Thank you Cindy! Big blessings to you!
Beautiful combination of soft hues, Ann!! I adore the white mini pumpkins myself, and try to decorate lavishly with them in the fall as well. They’re just soooo…neutral, I guess…so that you can decorate with them in any room.
Happy Fall!
Mary
Thank you so much Mary! Can never have too many Baby Boos!
I stopped on by because of your being featured on The Scoop. Congratulations. I LOVE the blue and white! So I’m completely partial to blue and white, it is so soothing to me. I could just look at those white pumpkins and blue transferware all day long. Okay, well, probably not. But, I love the simple, peaceful beauty you have captured in the changing of the seasons. Well done! :) Cheryl
Hello Cheryl! I’m so glad you stopped by! Blue and white is fast becoming a favorite of mine too. Thank you for your sweet comments. Have a joyous week!
Love, love baby boos! Last year I had lots, but didn’t get any planted this year. Love your little birdie told me tip. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
Lucky for me, my husband takes care of the planting and I get to reap the harvest! Hugs!
