Coral Summer Picnic Wear

Hello! I hope you’re enjoying the summer days and have fun plans for the holiday weekend. I am infatuated with coral right now. I guess I always have been, but the fact that it’s a trending color makes me oh-so-happy.

This New York & Company vest ($6 thrift find!) is a favorite choice on the occasional summer day when the temps don’t hit the 90’s. Otherwise it’s too hot as it’s made of sweatshirt material.

I paired it with a simple white tank and jean shorts.

I chose chunky accessories from my own line of jewelry, and added a pop of whimsy with my Tommy H. striped tennies.

The shoes are a bit tight, so it wasn’t long before I changed into sandals.

  1. Coral is one of my summer favorites. My toes are coral almost year round. It sure looks good on you!
I don’t know any of the blogs you are linking to- great list for me to check out. :)

  2. I have a colour business. You either suit coral cos you have warm skin, or you suit pink as your skin is cool. This outfit is so simple yet our eyes are drawn to your waistcoat as its such a beautiful colour. You have good taste.

  3. What a cute summer outfit! I also have a few coral (or I sometimes also go for either tangerine or even salmon shades). Don’t you just hate it when you find a pair of cute shoes and they don’t quite fit?! I have a pair or 2 like that, as well…a short bit in them and I’m back into my flip flops. I’m visiting from over at the “Monday Mingle” link-up party.
