I am so loving yellow right now. When I went thrifting a couple of weeks ago with two friends, we talked about what we were on the lookout for before we went. I said I wanted to find a solid color spring cardi and something yellow. Score and score! I found a coral cardigan that I’ll show you in an upcoming post, and I found this sweater and necklace.
I wore it Sunday to church when the temp was around 70. Afterward, during this shoot, it got really muggy and started to rain. So I had to move to the porch again to take pictures.
Please excuse the blurry photo. It was very windy and I liked the movement of my hair and sweater even though it’s not clear.
Earrings can be purchased in my shop here. Sweater: New York and Company, thrifted $8.
I hope you’re looking forward to Easter and have some plans to celebrate with family or friends. I am going to take Drop It or Swap It off for this week, but will be back next week for the second swap. If you haven’t checked it out yet, please take a gander here and make plans to join in the fun.

You look gorgeous in yellow, black, red . . . well, any color.
What I’d like to know is ‘where’ you shop to find these pretty, and timeless pieces. The only clothes I’ve ever found while thrifting, would make Phyllis Diller cringe.
In any case, you look lovely, as always. Happy Easter, Annie!
That’s a great question, Marysol. I found this particular sweater at a nationwide place called Clothes Mentor. I can’t remember where you live, but here’s a store locator http://www.clothesmentor.com/store-locator/. I find many of my pieces at Goodwill when I want a super duper bargain price, but I have to hunt harder there. Happy Easter to you! I’m sure you’ll be making a beautiful confection of some sort. Any plans to post pics?
Love that outfit! That sweater is adorable and perfect for this time of year.
Why thank you Stacey! Yes, this time of year when you don’t know whether to dress for warm or chilly weather, light sweaters come in very handy!
Another cheerful, upbeat outfit. You’ve got a great eye, but more importantly, I think your entire persona makes any grouping look good. A lot of it is attitude and I don’t know if that can be taught!
I think you’ve got it girl!
Ginene, you are a sweetheart. I love putting clothes together, and shopping. Posing ~ not so much! But I’m learning!
Oh that lemon yellow is beautiful! Yellow has to be just the right shade and that one is definitely the right shade! Those earrings are beautiful as well! The whole ensemble is perfect and you look lovely!
Thank you Heather! I agree, there are just some shades of yellow that don’t work at all on me!
What a nice piece to find! I like the blocks of color and your pretty jewelry adds a nice accent. Cute shoes and I like the ankle strap on them. 70 degrees sounds wonderful!
blue hue wonderland

So cute! I really enjoy yellow, too, and just have to be careful of the tone. Great sweater, necklace and earrings!
Hi there Melanie! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment. Have a lovely Easter weekend!
hi Ann, have missed ya lately. I have been trying to continue my postings even tho my energy is low. Not doing to well in the ‘me in the post’ category but non-the less posting something 4 days a week at least. lol
I love you in yellow. Best color! ♥, Renae
The cardigan is so pretty, Ann…and the necklace goes perfect with it.
