The colors in this outfit have a definite FALL feel, and I’m really ready to break out the SPRING colors but darn it, it’s COLD here!
So I did my best to “spring it up” with pastels. The baby pink lace top is actually borrowed from my lingerie drawer and turned around backwards. The pop of orange sherbet in the necklace comes from a vintage buckle, along with a sweet little orange and gold bead.
I made it to list in my shop but I’m not quite ready to part with it. I’m really starting to lean more towards gold again in my jewelry selections, though I still love silver too. Which do you wear the most, gold or silver?
I made the lacy cross earrings too but couldn’t quite get a decent photo of them.
The jacket was a thrifty find, a bargain at $1! It’s not an expensive brand, but it doesn’t take lots of money to look stylish, it’s all about how you put it together. And of course the new skirt doesn’t hurt, it’s one I showed you before in one of my winter posts, purchased from a friend’s shop.
Please hurry warmer temps!
Talk soon,
Ann

Lovely outfit, such great colors and shapes. Nice mix of lace and olive. Plus fun skirt, belt and boot!

Hello Ann! Always nice to “see” you. I don’t think I ever tire of olive, it’s so versatile. Thank you for the visit!!
Beautiful! Have you ever consider chopping off your hair very short bob like the picture of you pulling back your hair, there? I think you could pull off that Victoria Bechkam’s short hairdo.. you both have te same chin!

Hi there Mrs.C! You know, I used to have my hair short like that, for many years actually. I only recently decided to grow it out long for a while. And I’m sure I’ll go back to short again eventually. Thanks for your comments!
Loving the military green with lace too! Sigh…spring has to be around the corner, right? You hair does look really cute pulled back. Shows off your pretty features!
Thank you, Alison. You’re a sweetie!
Hi Anne, finally I am able to post and comment again. Great outfit! LOVE the skirt, you know I am a sucker for fringes. Thx for your sweet comment honey.
hugs

Lenya! I am so happy you came by! I’ve missed you. Glad your computer issues are fixed. Hugs!
This outfit has everything I like. The skirt was a real find. The crucifix earring are terrific and I love the jacket. You put it all together with the feminine pink lace top that I like. And the necklace with the vintage buckle…darn, I sold five of those in a button box last week! Why couldn’t this post have been last week! Ha! You really put this together well. Gotta say, I think you would look even prettier with your hair cut to that length!
Darn, I would’ve bought those buckles! The shorter hair seems to be the consensus. : )
Having the same problem here in Wales – Spring blossom on the trees but the temperatures have been arctic!! It’s hard trying to look like ‘Spring’ yet stay warm, so I think you’ve done fantastically with this great outfit. And I agree that you don’t need to spend a lot of money to look stylish, well done on the bargain jacket!

Hello! Thank you for your kind comments. Spring blossoms sound wonderful, hopefully they won’t freeze. Can’t wait to head over to your blog!
hi Ann, haven’t seen you in a while. I am sorry to have missed several of your posts. I’ll come back more, I will! I promise. :D Your hair is so long now days.
I totally understand, Renae! So much to do, so little time :). Hugs!
Very helpful. It still feels like winter here so my wardrobe hasn’t changed, but those transitional days are coming.
It’s feeling quite wintery here too Susan, blehhh. Have a sunny-on-the-inside day!
So sharp and stylish! Made me S M I L E :)-
