Polka Dots and Valentine Red

Less than 3 weeks until daylight savings time begins and it will seem more like spring! We can get through this winter girls and guys! Has it been a rough one where you live? We’ve had plenty of cold and snow here in Missouri. But I’m totally pumped because today’s high will be near 60! And for me, that means a bike ride, yay!

I hope you all had a happy Valentine’s weekend. My husband took me to lunch at a restaurant on the Kansas City Plaza. We had fun!

I’ve shown you this dress before (here) when it was warm weather and I could wear it with bare arms and legs. So for cold weather I restyled it with a jean jacket, a red under slip, black leggings, red boots and a red scarf.

Me and My Valentine

After lunch we went to Starbucks and my husband was being playful. When the staff person asked him his name to put on the cup he said “Fred” ~ not his name! He said it with a perfectly straight face and I had to look away to keep from busting up. When his drink order was up and they called out “Fred” he walked right up and got it. I told him the next time I was going to be Angelica. Random, I know. What I should have said was “Ginger”. Or “Wilma”.
